Over 1,000 linear feet of industrial galvanized chain link fencing and motorized security gates installed for PepsiCo's Oak Forest trailer yard.
Securing PepsiCo's Oak Forest Facility
PepsiCo's Oak Forest facility runs an active trailer yard where trailers are parked, staged and moved throughout the day.
The property needed a secure perimeter that keeps the yard closed to unauthorized vehicles and people, while letting trucks enter and exit without delays.
Osceola Fence & Security Corp. installed more than 1,000 linear feet of 8-foot-high industrial galvanized chain link around the property, along with motorized sliding gates and motorized double gates at the vehicle entrances.

Trailer yards are hard on fencing. Tractor-trailers make wide turns near gate openings, gates open and close many times a day, and the perimeter has to stay secure around the clock.
The fence had to be tall enough to discourage climbing, strong enough for Chicago-area wind and winters, and open enough for staff to see across the yard.

We combined a high-security galvanized perimeter with automated vehicle access to support daily trailer yard operations.
8 Ft Industrial Galvanized Chain Link
We installed over 1,000 linear feet of 8-foot-high industrial galvanized chain link. Galvanized fabric and framework resist rust from rain, snow and road salt.
The 8-foot height raises the barrier well above a standard commercial fence while keeping the yard visible.
Industrial Sliding Gates With Motors
Sliding gates move parallel to the fence line, so they do not need swing space in front of the opening.
On a trailer yard where trucks stage close to the entrance, this keeps the approach clear. Motors operate the gates without requiring manual movement by drivers or staff.
Motorized Double Gates
Motorized double gates provide a wide clear opening for vehicle access.
Both gate leaves operate automatically, allowing the entrance to accommodate vehicle movements while maintaining a controlled access point.
